The concept behind the Lismores proposed identity is to take shapes, motifs and objects from the town itself. I traced motifs and shapes throughout the town, from the biggest and most famous architectural buildings such as the castle and cathedral to small tiles on store floors. I used shapes from whatever was unique to Lismore. These shapes informed the Lismore Identity, the way finding system reinforced this concept by taking tourists on a night tour of the most popular tourist spots of the town. Here they can not only read about the attractions but also find out for themselves where some of the logo shapes originate from.
